Scope of Service
JennAir Appliance Repair provides diagnostic and repair services for built-in and freestanding JennAir household appliances. We are an independent appliance repair service and are not affiliated with, authorized by, or endorsed by JennAir, Whirlpool Corporation, or any appliance manufacturer. Brand names and model references are used solely to identify the equipment being serviced and to source compatible OEM or aftermarket parts.
Estimates and Approval
After diagnosing your appliance, we provide a written estimate that includes the cost of parts and labor. No repairs are performed and no parts are ordered until you approve the estimate in writing or verbally. Diagnostic fees, if applicable, are disclosed before the appointment is scheduled. If you decline the repair after diagnosis, only the diagnostic fee applies.
Service Appointments and Access
By scheduling a service appointment, you agree to:
- Provide accurate contact information, appliance details, and a description of the issue.
- Ensure a responsible adult (18 years or older) is present at the service address during the appointment.
- Provide safe, unobstructed access to the appliance requiring service.
- Inform the technician of any known hazards, pets, or access restrictions at the property.
We make every effort to arrive within the scheduled time window. If we need to reschedule, we will notify you as soon as possible. Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice may be subject to a cancellation fee as outlined in our Refund, Return, and Cancellation Policy.
Payment Terms
Payment is due upon completion of the repair unless other arrangements have been agreed to in advance. We accept major credit cards, debit cards, and other payment methods as displayed on our website. All prices are quoted in U.S. dollars. You are responsible for any applicable taxes. Returned payments or chargebacks may result in collection action and additional fees.
Limited Warranty on Repairs
We stand behind the quality of our work. Completed repairs carry a limited warranty covering both parts and labor for the period specified on your invoice. This warranty applies only to the specific repair performed and does not extend to unrelated components or pre-existing conditions. The warranty is void if the appliance is tampered with, misused, or serviced by another party after our repair. Warranty claims must be reported promptly by contacting us through our Contact page.
Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, JennAir Appliance Repair, its owners, employees, and contractors shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from or related to the use of our services or this website. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. This limitation applies regardless of the legal theory on which the claim is based.
